Cushing’s syndrome
In Cushing’s syndrome, there is an increased production of body hormones that adversely affect the metabolic processes of the body. The condition of dyslipidemia occurs as a result of all the abnormality and impairment due to Cushing’s syndrome. The total amounts of triglycerides and LDL cholesterol increases in the body. In contrast, the amount of HDL cholesterol drops due to abnormal glucose levels, insulin resistance, hypertension, and obesity occurring due to the abnormal amounts of hormones in the body.
