Rash

The rash appears as a bumped skin during the first stage of HIV infection and will last for 2-4 weeks. The rash can be seen on the trunk, face, or limbs of the infected person. The color of the rash varies and depends on the skin color of an individual like it looks red and purple on the light and dark skins, respectively.
