Tuberculosis (TB)
TB is a bacterial infection of the respiratory system, and can also affect other body systems. It is a curable and preventable disease. But in the case of HIV infection, it is considered the leading cause of death in infected people. TB is a contagious disease so proper care and preventive measures should be considered before treating or contacting HIV infectees.
