Semen is also one of the main reasons for HIV infection. HIV can occur in the semen of infected individuals. If your partner infects with HIV infection, then he/she must use protective measures to prevent contact with semen. It has been reported that despite using antiretroviral therapy the semen still carries free-floating HIV.
