Vaginal fluid also possesses the same capability of transmitting HIV as the semen. HIV can be found in the vaginal secretion of women. During sex, HIV will attach and contact the penis and will result in HIV infection in a male partner. The use of preventive actions and antiretroviral therapy lessen this threat but not completely assure safe sex.
