Sharing Personal Items
Sharing personal use items, like razors, towels, laundry, toothbrushes, makeup brushes, lipsticks and nail clippers should be avoided with a person having HPV. Though, there is not any definite claims as to transmission via this route, these items can certainly become contaminated with lesions and may transfer the virus from one user to the other. There is no knowing that a latent infection in the former user becomes an active disease in the latter user.
