Blood Transfusions
Blood borne transmission has not yet been proved a definite cause in humans. However, this mode of transmission is seen in rabbits and mice species, and so the doctors fear this might be a probable route in human too. Moreover, people receiving blood transfusions already have some ailments, which may predispose infection due to poor immune system. The asymptomatic patients’ ability to still infect other is an another hint that points to the blood as a carrier for the virus.
