HPV Vaccine Shots
The vaccine is received as shots in the muscle of the upper arm or the upper thigh. For persons aged 9-15, the vaccine is administered in two doses, the second shot to be received has a gap of 6 months after the first shot.
In the age group 15-45, the vaccine is given by way of three shots. After the first dose that is taken at any time, the second dose is given after 2 months. The third dose has a time gap of 4 moths from the second shot.
