Flat Warts
Also known as verruca plana, these warts are not raised. Rather, they have a blotched appearance, with smooth surface, differentiated visibly on the basis of color, which may be lighter or darker than the surrounding tissue. The most common sites for the appearance of this type of warts are, the face, especially the beard area in the males, the shins and hands.
