Joint Swelling
Swelling of joints associates with the enlargement of the knee joint. It usually occurrs as a result of an injury or an inflammatory process in the joint or in the surrounding structures. Swelling of joints might accompany other knee problem symptoms such as immense pain, stiffness, redness, loss of range of motion, and warmth at the knee joint. Swelling of joints might occur in multiple joint or at a single joint depending on the underlying cause of the knee problem. Arthritis conditions usually cause swelling of joints and soft tissues and for this reason swelling is a common symptom of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
