Knee Pain, Symptoms, Causes, and Treatment (Home Remedies) You Should Never Ignore

Degenerative tissue disorders

Degenerative bone disorders cause wearing and tearing of the joints and are a common knee complaint. The most common one and already described is osteoarthritis that causes degeneration of the bones and cartilages of the joint involved.

Other degenerative tissue disorders are mostly inherited and cause bone degeneration from childhood. The most common signs and symptoms of these disorders include knee pain, stiffness, and joint dysfunction. Some also occur as a result of the normal aging process; due to loss of bone density and function.

There is no definitive cure for most of these conditions, and most doctors often recommend symptomatic management such as pain relief medications and light exercise.
