Night time Vision Disturbances
Night time vision disturbances are another common complications after Lasik surgery. People might experience halos and glare at night especially the pupils dilate in dim-light setting. Moreover, the pupils dilate more than the usual area of the cornea leading to spherical aberrations in dim light. A decentered ablation can also lead to night time visual disturbances, which is rare but can occur in some people. The advanced tracking systems detect the decentered ablations by using topography.
