Flap Striae
Small folds or wrinkles might appear in the cornea post-LASIK surgery. Striae might be of two types depending on their size. Microstriae are superficial, tiny wrinkles in the corneal epithelial membrane while the macrostriae are thicker folds in the cornea that cause vision impairments.
