Nausea
Hypoglycemia might occur in combination with other medical conditions, but the leading cause of hypoglycemia is the reaction to certain medications treating diabetes such as insulin. The people who use insulin for controlling their condition of diabetes might suffer from hypoglycemia as the insulin in the body starts reacting or comes in a shock, thus dropping the blood glucose levels. The patient feels nausea or the urge to vomit due to the dropping down of blood sugar levels in the blood. Due to the limited glucose supply in the blood, the gastrointestinal system suffers from disturbances. In response to the disturbance to the gastrointestinal system, the body starts activating the defence mechanism, which causes an exhibition of vomiting and nausea.
