Lung Cancer (Overview, Symptoms, Types, Diagnosing, Causes and Treatment)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

MRI gives the exact location of tumors in the body. This technique generates body images by using radio waves, magnetism, and a computer. This technique produces detailed and high-quality images of the body structures and reveals any minor changes in the body. MRI scanning has no side effects, but MRI cannot scan the patients with surgically implanted structures in the body such as heart pacemakers, artificial valves, or metal implants because this technique uses a magnet that can move these parts.
