Targeted therapy
This treatment option uses drugs targeted on some special features of cancerous cells. These drugs do minimum damage to healthy cells. Some drugs work by inhibiting the production of enzymes needed for the growth of tumor cells, while some drugs obstruct their blood supply and tumor cells inactivated due to lack of blood supply. This therapy may be used alone or with other therapies.
