Lymph node biopsy
This procedure uses a thin needle to remove a part of the lymph node. The removed part can be examined under the microscope to look for lymphoma cells. The biopsy is a surgical procedure and performed at a hospital or doctor’s clinic and patients need to stay at the hospital for one to two days.
