Several studies suggest that most of the mesothelioma patients are men, and the exact reason is still known that why more men have this cancer. The main reason for more men population to get mesothelioma is due to the more males working in the military and other occupations that involve higher asbestos exposure. The higher prevalence of mesothelioma in men can also be due to the genetic component related to the disease.
