Excessive gas
Those with IBS may have an abnormal gas and bloating experience. While there are many theories why this happens, doctors do not know the exact explanation for this.
One theory is that IBS triggers gut bacteria that produce excessive gas. Bacteria can also produce free radicals and toxins that can cause excessive bloating. Another theory suggests that people with IBS are less capable of tolerating and handling digestive gases. It leads people with IBS to feel gassier than others.
