Kidney Problems
Kidneys filter the blood and remove metabolic wastes from the body and secrete them into the urine. The accumulation of calcium and M proteins in the blood impairs kidney function. As a result, kidneys fail to function properly and may lead to kidney failure in some cases. The patient may experience a decrease in the amount of urine and kidney pain as a sign of kidney damage. Doctors suggest the patients drink adequate water to prevent early kidney problems. Patients also notice swollen legs, itchiness, shortness of breath, and weakness.
