Spinal cord compression:
Due to damage to spinal bones, the patient can experience some severe problems of backbone like spinal cord compression. The compression can result in severe back pain, fatigue, weakness, and muscle weakness.
Peripheral neuropathy:
Peripheral neuropathy is a condition of nerve damage due to myeloma cells. The peripheral nervous system is affected by the changes in the blood composition, such as a higher amount of M proteins, in the case of multiple myeloma. Its symptoms are:
- Sensitivity to temperature
- Difficulty in walking
- Trembling
- Unable t hold small objects
- Less sensation
- Numbness
- Tingling and burning sensation
