Braces, standing frames, and wheelchair braces

Braces, standing frames, and wheelchair braces

Braces help to support ankle and foot. They can be prescribed to wear at night to keep the foot from pointing downward. Braces can help in building up of muscles that will help to stand straight. Standing for a few hours encourages better circulation, a straight spine, and healthier bones. Standing frames help the people with MD to stand. However, a sooner wheelchair will be required. The use of a wheelchair is gradual. At first, it is just used for long-distance traveling. Normally people find it more comfortable to use a wheelchair than a standing frame.  They feel more energetic, active and independent.
