Spontaneous gene mutation
The cause of muscular dystrophy can be a spontaneous gene mutation. In which there is no apparent reason for the mutation in genes, but mutation occurs that changes the way then cell functions. This spontaneous gene mutation causes the development of MD even when people don’t have a family story of this condition. Therefore, if muscular dystrophy appears in a family with no history the cause behind is spontaneous gene mutation.
