Family history
Family history has some influence on the development of myasthenia gravis in a fewer proportion of the population but the scientists are still understanding the inheritance pattern. Mostly, the people do not inherit the genes of myasthenia gravis because it is not contagious or inheritable. However, almost 3 to 5 percent of the patients might have some family members living with myasthenia gravis or some other autoimmune disorders.
