Doubled or Blurred Vision
Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder which can make the immune system to mistakenly disrupt the links between eye muscles and nerves thus affecting the smallest muscles that work together in coordination with each other to keep the proper alignment of your eyes. The weakness of eye muscles due to progression of myasthenia gravis, muscles in your eyes tend to lose their alignment and the results are double or blurred vision. Double vision means that a person might start seeing two images when you look at a person or a single object. It is the function of brain to finely control the working of eye muscles to keep the focus and alignment in check all the time. Weakness of muscles due to myasthenia gravis result in misalignment of the eye and a person sees a blurry image of even a closer object thus facing difficulties to focus.
