Edrophonium test
In last decades, the doctors perform tensilon test or edrophonium test in which the doctors use a chemical edrophonium to inject into a vein to check whether the muscle strength improves temporarily yet suddenly. The chemical edrophonium blocks the breaking of acetylcholine and sees the consequences in the patients. While FDA disapproves the use of edrophonium test for diagnosing myasthenia gravis in patients due to its higher ratio of false positives.
