Shortness Of Breath

A feeling in which a person feels uncomfortable and is not able to get a good breath and is not getting enough oxygen. In patients with MDS, anemia may predispose them to feel short of breath with activity. Anemia is the most common symptom in MDS. Red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body, and people with too few red cells may be pale, tired, or short of breath.
