A rise in cervical mucus is a pregnancy early indicator. The cervical mucus will look thicker and more translucent after birth, and will remain that way until you skip your period. You may also experience a stinging sensation, itchiness and soreness around your vagina when peeing.
This symptom is usually common in the first month and may subside as your pregnancy grows. However, you should consult your doctor if you experience intense itching or soreness around the vagina.
