Headaches are the most common symptoms of pre-menstruation. Oestrogen and progesterone hormones work overtime with pregnancy to prepare the baby’s uterus. Hormones cause a drop in blood sugar levels, leading to headaches – as brain cells struggle to keep up with low sugar supply levels.
