In the doctor’s office, you can get a standardized urine test. Such tests need not be more precise than an HPT. Your doctor may, however, be able to help remove any possible errors that may affect the test’s accuracy. A clinical urine test can cost more than an HPT, depending on your health insurance plan.
Depending on the medical facility you visit, the results of a clinical urine test can differ. Nonetheless, usually within a week of taking the test, you should expect your results.
