Swollen glands
Swollen glands can be seen in some cases. Enlarged lymph nodes are developed on the neck or back of the head and can be felt in touch. Tender lesions are formed in the area of the initial ringworm. Hypersensitivity to ringworms results in this condition. The ringworm of scalp develops into a kerion in severe cases, which is the abacus caused by fungal infections. The kerion can also occur on other body parts like face.
