Blood transfusions
In a blood cell transfusion, red blood cells are removed from a supply of donated blood. After that, the cells are given through a vein to a person along with sickle cell anemia. It increases the normal red blood cells count that helps to reduce symptoms and complications. However, risk includes an immune response to the donor blood that can make it hard to find future donors. Moreover, excess iron can also damage the heart, liver, and other organs when you undergo regular transfusions.
