Anemia

The sickle cells break easily and die by leaving an individual with too few red blood cells. The red blood cells can live for 120 days before they need to be replaced. However, in the case of sickle cells, these cells die 10 to 20 days by leaving a shortage of red blood cells.  Without red blood cells, the human body is unable to get enough oxygen, causing fatigue.
