Signs Your Foot Pain Is Serious

Arch of foot pain

The arch of the foot provides support for the entire body’s weight. It is a slight curve of the foot that apparently does nothing but helps balance your weight and provides stability to your leg movements. Pain in the foot’s arch is often caused by an inward or outward rolling of the foot and usually triggers other symptoms in other parts of the body, such as the knees and the hips.

The most common cause of this foot problem is flat feet. The arch collapses and flattens when flat feet fall inward, putting extra stress on the foot’s soft tissues. When flat feet fall outward, the arch overextends, stretching the foot’s soft tissues and increasing pressure on the arch.
