Symptoms of sleep apnea are mostly common in everyone, but as the person suffers from this condition in an unconscious state, so it’s difficult for him to discover this situation on his own. Usually, the bed partner observes the night habits or complains about snoring. In this disorder, a person faces continuous breathing disturbance during sleep. Breathing repeatedly breaks for a few seconds and then starts again. Some of the significant symptoms include;
Loud or Frequent Snoring
One of the most common and obnoxious symptoms linked with sleep apnea is loud and frequent snoring with gasping of air. It happens when the body goes without air for one or two seconds, causing collapsing of lungs, forcing the throat to open for intake of oxygen. This process of wheezing increases snoring. These episodes can also occur in day time sleeping. A person can face dozens of such events while sleeping. It doesn’t wake the person making sounds but can be irritable for the person sharing the bed. It can be associated with the central nervous system in which the brain does not sends proper signals to the respiratory muscles that control breathing. It is a signalling issue from the brain to the body.
