Nocturia

Nocturia is characterized as wakening up at night from sleep to urinate. Researches have shown nocturia to be a sign of sleep apnea. During sleep apnea episodes, the person suffers from the shortening of breath and the level of oxygen in the body falls, resulting in an increased level of carbon dioxide. The blood becomes more acidic, and the heart rate reduces, constructing the lungs’ blood vessels. The heart starts experiencing signals of fluid overloading. In response to which heart release hormone-like protein that signals the body to release sodium and water from the body resulting in nocturia.
