Daytime Sleeping
Daytime sleeping is commonly seen in people suffering from sleep apnea. Excessive daytime sleeping due to this disorder can have severe effects on the person. Some studies have shown that people feeling overly sleepy in the daytime can face an increased incidence of accidents, functional impairment, and cognitive defects. A study conducted on people of mean age showed that half of the participants were facing a momentous level of the increased daytime sleeping, and they struggled to stay awake during daylight. It may also hightens the risk of death in adults.
