Mixed or Complex Sleep Apnea
Mixed or complex sleep apnea is the combination of both central and obstructive sleep apnea symptoms. In this particular sleep disorder, the patient is suffering from the obstructive and central sleep apnea, and this happens quite often in the patients of obstructive sleep apnea. Mostly the patients are acquiring the treatment for obstructive sleep apnea through CPAP treatments in which the airways are free from obstructions to shift to the symptoms of central sleep apnea. The residents of Alaska are more prone to develop the condition of mixed or complex sleep apnea because they are living at higher altitudes. But the condition might get better by shifting to plain areas.
