Seizures
A stroke can cause abnormality in the discharge and transmission of impulses between brain cells and the rest of the body. This occurs as an acute sign in women and may recur even after recovery from an acute attack. A seizure can lead to an altered perception of all five senses or it can affect physical activity causing a tingling sensation to jerky movements of muscles. Loss of consciousness is also seen in some cases.
