Increased thirst
As a result of the increased rate of urination, high blood glucose turns into a dehydrating health condition. Mild dehydration might not be visible and may only give out certain symptoms such as increased thirst. This is the earliest reflex we experience after mild dehydration and might be associated with a dry mouth and thick saliva. Some patients would also have dry skin and brittle hair when this problem becomes severe. Increased thirst would appear in patients with high blood glucose, and it is another warning sign that glycemic levels are very high.
