External bleeding 

Both external and internal bleeding can be seen in the patient suffering from severe thrombocytopenia. External bleeding includes bleeding in the mouth, nose, and eyes. Bleeding can occur from capillary, venous, or it can be arterial bleeding. If any minor skin cuts or injury, the area start to bleed, and the bleeding does not stop due to low platelet count. External bleeding becomes a cause of purpura and petechiae.
