Vertigo
Vertigo is another symptom of ear disease. Although not strictly a symptom of tinnitus itself, when the two conditions occur together or episodically, it can be a presentation of Meniere’s disease. It is a disease of the inner ear, which can alter the balance and cause dizziness. In older people tinnitus can also trigger dizziness and vertigo, secondary to sleep disturbance and other psychic impacts.
