Ear infections
Infections in different part of ears causing blockage, inflammation, fluid accumulation might become a risk factor for tinnitus. Such infections are responsible for causing temporary or permanent damage to the ear drum, or to the ossicles which might trigger tinnitus. Tinnitus in such cases goes away once the infection is treated.
