Keep a check on medication
Tinnitus when caused by an underlying condition can be treated by treating the original cause. Some anti-depressants and pain killers also cause mild or acute tinnitus. Consulting your doctor before taking such medicines or by managing the doses of the medicines can help with tinnitus. Following the tinnitus therapy regularly can help dealing with tinnitus sounds and prevent tinnitus from happening.
