With the Doppler test’s help, the vascular specialist can locate the damaged valves or veins in your lower body that might be the cause of varicose veins in the patients. Doppler test is a noninvasive test, which gives a clear picture of the damage and rupturing of the veins in the lower body. The lab technician uses a transducer, i.e., a small device about the size of your palm, holds it against the patient’s skin, and then examines the affected area on the monitor screen.
