Guavas are one of the tropical fruits locally found in the Mexico, Caribbean, South America, and Central America. Guava commonly has bright red or pink flesh on the inner side and light green skin (the outer layer). Guava consumes as raw and typically eats just like an apple or you can also cut them into quarters. It is also amazingly blended into a smoothie to add a tropical, smooth flavor. Each guava contains vitamin C (125 mg) or 140 % of the daily value that makes it a good source of vitamin C.
