Posterior Sub Capsular Cataracts
The cataract formation on the front of the posterior portion of the eye and at the back of the lens is called posterior sub capsular cataracts. The grainy opaque structure is formed on the posterior portion of the eye. This cataract can develop quickly. This type of cataracts is mostly found among aged people, diabetic patients and people who consume steroid medication. Since the cataract is located on the pupillary area, it causes a considerable loss of vision. 3.4% of people are diagnosed with posterior subscapsular cataract.
