Obesity
People with obesity are at a higher risk of developing cataracts. With the increase in obesity, the eye pressure also increases leading to cataracts. Obese people have diets high in sugar and other unhealthy supplement which further contribute to cloudiness. Obese people have higher level of leptin, C- reactive protein, plasma fibrinogen, which are associated with cataract formation.
