Avoiding Trauma
Oftentimes, eye trauma leads to the development of cataract. Any past trauma can lead to the development of cataract in the future. The cataract can be avoided by preventing dangerous things to come in contact with the eyes. Being careful around household work, while working in offices and trying to keep sharp things away from the eyes as much as possible can help reduce the risk of eye damage. Using protective eye shields while doing chores which may harm eyes can aid in preventing cataract.
