Avoiding Chemical Environments
People working in chemical environments can develop cataracts. The chemicals in the environments irritate the fibers of the eye, which trigger cataract formation. People working in heavily polluted areas and chemical factories should wear glasses at all times to avoid cataract and take diet rich in anti-oxidants to remove harmful chemicals from the body. They should pay frequent visits to doctor to check for cataract and other eye-related disease caused by pollution.
